9.

Checks to be performed before start-up

With the main switch open and locked by padlock (OFF position):
9.1. Tightening of all the electrical connections.
9.2. Levelling and verification of the strength of the supporting structure.
9.3. Correct fixing of the panels and components, pay particular attention to the correct fixing of the fan protection
grid.
9.4. Verification of maintenance spaces.
9.5. Correspondence of the supply voltage to the plate data.
9.6. Freedom of movement of the fan blades.
9.7. No fluid leakages.
9.8. Removal of protective film from the casing.
9.9. Verification of cleanliness of the installation area.
9.10. Check that there are no foreign bodies in the vicinity of the fans and of the unit to avoid them being sucked in
by the fans.
9.11. Check the pressure seal of the unit.
9.12. The unit is ready for use after all the instructions and warnings concerning the electrical connections and the
fluids have been strictly adhered to.

10. Checks to be performed after start-up

10.1. The first start-up must be supervised by a qualified technician and must be carried out with great caution.
10.2. Check the rotation direction of the motor fans. Contrary rotation could affect the performance of the model.
10.3. Check the freedom of rotation of the impeller, without friction or movement.
10.4. Check the fluid circulation.
10.5. No unusual vibrations or noises.
10.6. Check that the electric absorption is correct, in any case not exceeding what is reported in the label of the
motor fan.
10.7. Check correct tightening of the screws according to the current regulations.
