General warnings

1.1. Read carefully and with attention all the information contained in this manual before removing the packaging,
before handling, assembling, positioning, starting the machine and before any intervention on the model. If in
doubt, contact the Manufacturer.
1.2. This manual is an integral part of the product and as such must be kept throughout the life of the unit.
1.3. This manual must be kept available near the unit for the entire life of the same.
1.4. Always use the personal protection equipment (hereinafter PPE) provided during installation (gloves, safety
glasses, etc.).
1.5. The Manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage to persons and property resulting from non-compliance
with all the instructions contained in the manual.
1.6. Use the unit solely for the purpose for which it was designed: improper use exempts the Manufacturer from any
liability.
1.7. Install the unit in compliance with all the local laws and regulations in force.
1.8. The use of fluids or substances which could corrode, make unsafe or reduce the performance of the unit is
prohibited.
1.9. It is forbidden to modify or tamper with the unit components.
1.10. It is forbidden to walk or climb on the unit.
1.11. The Customer is solely responsible for compliance with the regulations relating to installation and operation of
the unit.
1.12. The use of a fluid other than the one indicated is prohibited, voids the warranty and would result in exposure to
a possible chemical risk.
1.13. For any use other than that intended, contact the Manufacturer.
1.14. The Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any accidents, losses or damage resulting from improper use
of the unit that must be properly installed, by qualified personnel, in accordance with the intended use and
subjected to preventive maintenance, to protect the safety of persons, animals and property. The units
produced comply with the applicable Essential Safety Requirements of the Machinery Directive as required by
the standard operating conditions described in the manual.
1.15. It is the responsibility of the installer/designer of the system to comply with the current regulations and
legislation and to assess its safety before putting the unit into service.
1.16. Any operation other than that indicated in this manual must be agreed in advance with the Manufacturer. Non-
compliance will void the warranty.
1.17. This manual reflects the state of the art at the time of marketing of the unit and therefore cannot be regarded
as inappropriate in the case that evolution of the design and construction methods require updating of the data
expressed.
1.18. All of the operations described in this manual must be performed by authorised and qualified personnel, with
the training and skills required by the current regulations. No operation can be carried out by people under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medicine that may affect the promptness of their reflexes. Jobs are allowed only if
an order has been given.
1.19. If anything abnormal happens (e.g. unusual noise, odours, etc.), immediately stop the unit and contact
maintenance; do not restart the machine until normal operating conditions have been restored.
1.20. The design, construction and operation of the refrigeration system where the unit will be installed must follow
the requirements and criteria indicated by the current legislation.
1.21. The safety requirements and prescriptions relating to the use of refrigerant fluids must be in accordance with
the provisions of current legislation and with the safety data sheets relating to each fluid used.
1.22. Prepare and plan measures in the event of an emergency on the system; for example, install a fault warning
system to prevent damage to people and property.
1.23. The unit, limited to the operating conditions described in this manual, complies with the applicable rules of the
Machinery Directive.
1.24. If in doubt or for any questions, contact the Manufacturer or dealer.
