7.11. In the installation area there must not be any foreign bodies and powders which could obstruct the exchanger.
Avoid the transit of means that could strike the unit.
7.12. The model is fitted with axial fans that are not suitable to withstand additional static pressures and therefore it
cannot be channelled, air intake filters cannot be installed and in the area dedicated to installation there must
be no strong currents of air which are contrary to the flow of the motor fans.
7.13. The place of installation must offer adequate protection against particular atmospheric events (e.g. flooding).
7.14. This unit will have to be integrated into an industrial electromagnetic environment, within the limits of emission
and immunity provided for by the regulations currently in force.
7.15. Check that the power supply line is adequate for the electrical characteristics of the unit.
7.16. Ensure that all the electrical connections are in accordance with the current regulations.
7.17. The installer and/or operator of the unit are required to ensure the presence of an efficient connection to the
protective earth against indirect electrical contacts.
7.18. The units are equipped for electrical earthing.
7.19. If external adjustment devices are installed, check their compatibility with the electrical characteristics of the
unit.
7.20. The ambient temperature must not be less than -25°C or above +60°C. In the case of installations at
temperatures lower than +5°C check that the presence of snow or ice will not obstruct the fins and will not
prevent rotation of the motors. For the PKE W dry cooler models when using glycol-free water as a fluid,
ensure that the ambient temperature is always above 0°C. To avoid the danger of freezing during downtime
and consequent breakage of the pipes, completely empty the cooler by inflating with air several times and
introduce glycol.
7.21. For the PKE condensers and PKE CO2 gas cooler before cutting the inlet and/or outlet sleeves discharge the
preload pressure (approximately 2 bar) from the exchanger.
