Note:
If the blade fuse breaks again a short period
after you replace it, there is a short circuit. Repair the
short circuit before you operate the product again. Let
an approved service agent help you.
To replace a bolt-down fuse
A broken bolt-down fuse is identified by a burned fuse
wire.
1. Turn the main switch to OFF.
WARNING:
no voltage before you touch the bolt-
down fuse. To touch a bolt-down fuse
with voltage can result in electrical shock
and serious injury.
2. Remove the 2 screws and the bolt down fuse from
the holder.
3. Replace the broken bolt down fuse with a new bolt
down fuse of the same type.
Note:
If the bolt-down fuse breaks again a short
period after you replace it, there is a short circuit. Repair
the short circuit before you operate the product again.
Let an approved service agent help you.
To replace the fuses in the fuse box
A broken fuse is identified by a burned fuse wire.
1. Remove the service lid. Refer to
service lid on page 48 .
2. Remove the cover to the fuse box. Refer to
remove the cover of the control box on page 48 .
3. Pull out the fuse from the holder.
4. Replace the broken fuse. Refer to
blade fuse on page 49 .
5. Install the covers.
To replace the fuses of the 48 V electrical
system
You find the fuses of the 48 V electrical system behind
the battery cooling system.
1. Remove the servicing plug. Refer to
install the servicing plug for the 48 V system on page
49 .
2. Remove the cover to the battery cooling system.

cooling system and tilt the battery cooling system
forward.
4. Replace the fuse. Refer to

opposite sequence.
To replace the fuses of the 12 V electrical
system
You find the fuses on the side of the 12 V battery.
1. Open the engine cover. Refer to
remove the engine cover on page 48 .
2. Turn the main switch to OFF.
3. Push the snap locks on each side of the fuse cover
and pull out the fuse cover.
4. Replace the fuse. Refer to
fuse on page 50 .
5. Install in the opposite sequence.
To clean and replace the air filter
CAUTION:
when the air filter is removed.
