FastBuild™ Configuration Setup
Rebuild Array <5>
The Rebuild option is necessary to recover from an error in a mirrored disk
array. Note: Drives must be replaced if they contain any physical errors.
Follow these steps before using the <5> Rebuild Array menu option:
1) From the FastTrak66 Startup BIOS error message, identify which array has
failed.
2) In the FastBuild™ Setup <3> Define Array, select the failed array and
identify the Channel and ID of the failed drive
3) Power off and physically remove the failed drive
4) Replace the drive with an identical model
5) Continue the restoration process with the <5> option
With a failed drive in a disk array, Rebuild Menu will show the status as
"Critical".
