Optional modules

4.1

Alarm module (option AM2, AM6)

For indoor use, surface mounted according NFPA 79 applications only.
The module offers two freely configurable relay outputs for alarm or control purposes.
Various operation modes are available including hysteresis, window and error indication.

No overcurrent and short circuit protection.
Both relays shall be connected to either high or low voltage.

AM6 In accordance with NFPA 70, NEC and with CSA C22.1, CEC, Part 1. A switch or circuit-breaker
must be included in the installation. It must be marked as disconnecting device for the EE310.
Disconnecting means all current-carrying conductors shall be disconnected. Additional it must be suita-
ble located and easily reached.
When error indication mode is selected, various errors will trigger the alarm output. An alarm output in
this operation mode is used for error indication only.
