PLC writes overwrite data: output signal of counter 1 is set to zero ! word 1 =
2000h; word 5 = 0300h
PLC writes configuration data: output of counter 1 = 1 if counter 1 >= threshold
value ! word 1 = 0010h; word 5 = 0400h
PLC writes threshold value to counter 1 ! word 1 = dec35000; word 5 = 0100h
PLC writes deletion of counter 1 if required (only if actual value of counter <> 0) !
word 1 = 0; word 5 = 1000h
1. PLC writes overwrite data: output signal of counter 1 is free and counter 1 is
enabled (GATE) ! word 1 = 0404h; word 5 = 0300h
2. PLC writes everything to zero ! word 1 = 0; word 5 = 0
3. The module now counts. At impulse 35000, the module switches the output
X1.6 to 1
4. PLC waits until the module has switched the output (input word 5 / bit 6 = 1).
PLC waits until the counter process has restarted. PLC writes deletion of
counter 1 ! word 1 = 0; word 5 = 1000h
5. The output X1.6 is switched off and the PLC writes everything to zero ! word
1 = 0; word 5 = 0
6. Proceed as step 8.
h:Hex format
The interference suppression should always be set according to the maximum
input signal frequency. A reliable operation of the counter is thus guaranteed.
Example:
Maximum input signal frequency = 120 Hz ! interference suppression of 200 Hz

Priorities of FORCE, LOCK and display mode

All the inputs and outputs can be overwritten via FORCE or LOCK. FORCE/LOCK
modes have a direct influence on the inputs and outputs.
If FORCE/LOCK modes are set simultaneously and sent via the PLC overwrite
data, the following applies:
Overwrite
