5.3 Using Presets

This controller provides several ways for you to recall presets. The soft key of latest selected preset displays in green.
1. Select fixtures and recall: You can recall presets after selecting the fixtures, those fixtures not selected will not be
added in the preset.
2. Non-select fixtures and recall: You can recall presets directly. In this case, all fixtures that can use the preset will
be added in the preset.
If you recall a preset where the fade in time is already set, it will use this set time to fade in the preset. If you have not set
any time (default time is 0s), it will recall the preset immediately.
However, if you enter a value ranging from 0.0~200.0 (seconds) before recalling the preset, it will temporarily use this time
to fade in the preset.
1. Input a value using the numeric keys in LIVE SHOW, such as the number 5.
2. Select a preset on the touch screen, such as a color mixed by RGB or a location.
3. You should then see that the preset is being recalled with a fade in time of 5 seconds.
You can also recall the preset by the number keys when selecting the Preset key in the Select section. The number key
information will be shown on the LCD screen.
Another way to recall a preset is by typing the number on the numeric keypad.
1. Select the Preset key in the Select section.
2. Type in the number of the preset you want to recall, using the numeric keypad.
3. Press the Enter key.
When using this method of recalling a preset, you can only use its own fade in time. There is no way for you to enter a
temporary fade in time value.
If some of the playbacks are made by recalling the presets, you can modify and update the recalled presets so that the
playbacks will be updated automatically.
For example, if Cue 2 on Playback 1, and Cue 5 on Playback 10 were recorded on Preset 1 (red color). You could modify
Preset 1 to be yellow in color with the prism opened, and changes would take effect upon updating.
