3.2.2 Patching Intelligent Fixtures
There is a slight difference between patching intelligent fixtures and dimmer channels. This is because intelligent fixtures
may have more attributes to control such as pan, tilt, color, or gobos; while dimmer channels only have one attribute,
which is intensity. To control intelligent fixtures, you need to select its fixture profile from your fixture library.
This controller offers two types of fixture libraries to choose from:
1. System Library
This console has its own system library. Any updated library files will be offered freely when they become
available on our website at: http://www.blizzardpro.com.
2. User Library
If the fixture profile you are looking for is not in the system library, there are multiple ways to create or edit
your library. (We will introduce you how to create or edit the user library in chapter 9.3).
• Press the Patch key.
• Then press [Patch New Fixture].
• Pressing [Used Library = System], can allow you to switch to [Used Library = User].
Patch the System Library
When patching from the system library, you can use Wheel D to scroll and search the for the manufacturer, or you can
recall the on-screen keyboard using the Keyboard button, and input the name of manufacturer. Press [Enter] on the
keyboard to select an option, and then press [Exit].
Press [Confirm] to enter the menu of the manufacturer and search for the needed fixture using the same method as
above, and then press [Confirm].
The channel details will be listed when the model is selected.
