4.2.3 Special Control of Attributes
There is an absolute color-mix system in the Enigma™ M4. If
the selected fixtures have a tri-color channel, select Color Mix
and press the attribute name on touch screen to call out a
palette. You can select a color on the palette directly, and the
system will auto-mix your color.
This controller can read channel range data from R20 library
files. For example, after you select the fixtures and the Color
attribute key, pressing the name on touch screen can call out
a range table. You can select the range value with Wheel D, or
touch the options directly on-screen.
Note: Before using Wheel D to select a range
value, please be sure that the channel range
table is in focus. Otherwise, you may change
the speed of a running Cue-list. The yellow
frame indicates what the focus on.
This can only be used with fixtures.
4.2.4 Select Individual Fixtures
You can select and control fixtures from a sequence by selecting the
fixtures one at a time.
After locating a group of fixtures, press ← or → to highlight one of the
fixtures and change its attributes.
You can press the Find key or the soft key [Find All] to re-select all the
fixtures in a group.
4.2.5 Other Functions of Locate
When pressing the Locate key, you can also select functions other than
lighting up fixtures.
4.2.5.1 Locate without Pan/Tilt
Pressing [Locate Fixture No PAN/TILT] will locate fixtures without Pan
and Tilt channels.
4.2.5.2 Running Macros
A macro is a sequence of fixture programs, which run with a timed
parameter. Some fixtures can run special operations, such as Reset, and
Lamp On/Off. After patched, the macro function from the system library
will be loaded. If you want to check if the fixtures have macro or to run the macro, please do the following:
1. Select the fixtures
2. Press Locate
3. Press [Fixture Macros]. The screen will display any macro functions if found in the library.
4. Press the soft key to select the macro you want to run.
