Notes on Clearing a Driver Fault
A Driver Fault occurs when there is an over temperature condition. When a Driver Fault occurs, the
SMD23E2 or SMD24E2 will set bit 7 of the Status Word 1 word in the Network Input Data. Even though the
driver is enabled, it will not supply current to the motor until the motor's temperature decreases to a safe
value. At this point the fault will clear itself.
