t When shooting at low angles, using the REC button on the handle side is helpful.
t The REC button on the handle side includes a hold mechanism to prevent accidental operation.
t The REC button on the front side can be disabled by settings. (page 126)
t In the following cases, it may take time to complete writing to the P2 card even when you have pressed the REC button and stopped recording. For
this reason, if you press the REC button soon to start recording, the camera is unable to operate.
- Stopping of short-term recording
- Stopping immediately after recording to two microP2 memory cards
Selecting the resolution, codec, and video format for recording
You can select the recording resolution (1080P, 1080i, 720P, 480i, 576i), recording codec (AVC-Intra, AVC-LongG, DVCPRO HD, etc.), and the
recording frame rate.
Set in the main menu → [SYSTEM MODE] → [LINE&FREQ] and [REC FORMAT].
