Chapter 10 Maintenance and Inspection — Warning system
Description
Shot marks cannot be attached to the clips unless all
clips recorded over multiple P2 cards are present.
No P2 or SD memory card is inserted.
A clip cannot be copied to the card storing the original
clip.
The specified file does not exist.
No data is entered.
No SD memory card.
Attempted to delete without selecting clips.
Multiple instances of the same clip (copies) are included
in the clips selected.
Too many clips are selected.
This is a warning of the contents for the version that is
not supported by the camera.
The metadata character code is invalid.
There is a problem with data in the file.
When adding a counter value to the clip name,
characters must be deleted.
The P2 card or SD memory card is write-protected.
Description
Manual authentication failed.
An attempt is made to enter the [PERSON] item (user
who enters the memo) when there is no text memo.
The entered value is invalid.
There is not input to the software keyboard.
The re-entered password is different.
Description
An error occurred while accessing the P2 card.
An error occurred while accessing the connection target. Check the storage device status and connection.
The partition that can copy clips does not exist on the
storage device.
The storage device cannot be formatted.
The storage device is not correctly recognized.
Storage devices with more than six partitions cannot be
selected (mounted simultaneously).
The P2 card to copy is empty.
Cannot import to a P2 card containing clips.
Not enough space left on the storage device.
The P2 card model number of the copy source and copy
destination do not match. Cannot copy.
The connection with the storage device is disconnected.
There are too many partitions.
A non-compatible DVD drive or other device is
connected.
The compare check performed after copying failed.

Behavior and cause
Insert all P2 cards over which recording extended.
Insert the relevant media.
Copy the selected clip to a card that does not contain
the original clip.
Check the file.
Enter data and then set.
Insert an SD memory card.
Select clips to delete.
Multiple instances of the same clip (copies) cannot be
copied simultaneously. Remove instances of the same
clip from selected items.
Reduce the number of selected clips.
Match the device and content versions.
The metadata character code is UTF-8. Enter valid
characters using a viewer.
Create the file again.
For the counter addition setting, the user clip name plus
the counter value can only contain up to 100 bytes.
Characters in the clip name are automatically deleted
when the total number of characters exceeds this limit.
Insert write-accessible media.
Behavior and cause
Enter the correct password.
Enter the [TEXT] (text information) first.
Change the input value.
Enter the password.
Enter the correct reference password.
Measure
Check the P2 card.
Reformat in FAT format, or export the P2 card to create
a partition.
Change the connected storage device.
Reboot the storage device or connect another storage
device.
Release selected partitions.
The copy operation is not performed because the card
is empty.
Format the P2 card.
Use a new storage device with sufficient available space
or a formatted storage device.
Use the P2 cards of the same model number, or import
on a clip basis.
Reconnect the USB cable to the <USB3.0 HOST>
terminal. When it does not function normally after that,
turn off the power once and turn on the power again.
The maximum number of partitions on the storage
device is 23. Either reformat, or use a new storage
device.
Change the connected device to the correct storage
device, and then turn off the power once and turn on it
again.
Copy it again.
