Audible warning signals

Problem Possible cause/consequence
The anti-theft alarm system is The vehicle has been raised.
suddenly triggered.
You hear a warning signal. A message appears in the multi-function display.
You are driving with the parking brake applied.
You have opened the driver's door and have for-
gotten to switch off the lights.

Switch off the anti-theft alarm system:
Press the Œ or ‹ button on the key.
or
Insert the key in the ignition lock.
Follow the instructions from ( page 237) on-
wards.
Release the parking brake ( page 60).
Turn the light switch to M.
