Open the centre console armrest
( page 178).
Press remote opening switch 1 until
the boot lid unlocks and opens slightly.
Closing the boot lid
Risk of injury
Make sure that nobody can be trapped as
you close the boot lid.

1 Number plate recess
2 Placing hands
Pull down the boot lid using recess 1
just below the rear number plate.
Place one hand on either side of the air-
brake (arrows 2).
Firmly shut the boot lid.
