Resetting the trip meter
Press the è or ÿ button repeat-
edly until the standard display appears
( page 117).
Press the ƒ or ‚ button repeat-
edly until the trip meter appears.
Press and hold reset button
( page 43) until the trip meter is
reset.

Rev counter
The red band in the rev counter indicates
the engine's overrevving range.

Avoid driving in the overrevving range. Doing
so could damage the engine.
The fuel supply is cut off to protect the en-
gine when the overrevving range is
reached.
Outside temperature display
Risk of accident
Even if the temperature displayed is above
freezing point, the road surface may still be
icy, especially in wooded areas or on bridg-
es. You should therefore always adapt your
driving style and speed to suit the weather
conditions.
There is a short delay before a change in
outside temperature is displayed.
