Load parameter set

Load parameter set from the PC
The operating menu (Fig. 5-17) allows the loading of a parameter set
•
from the hard disk of the PC or a diskette in GDC by
"Read all parameter sets from file"
•
from the PC to the drive by
"Write current parameter set to the controller (F5)"

The controller is re-initialized by the parameter set transfer from the PC to the controller:
– System configurations and terminal assignments may be modified. Ensure, that your wiring
and drive configuration correspond to the settings of the parameter set.
•
Only use terminal X5/28 or the STOP function of GDC as a source for the controller inhibit. A
parameter set transfer is only possible when the controller is inhibited.
1. Insert a diskette with the parameter set into the disk drive of the PC. Click on "Drive
parameters" in the menu bar of GDC.

2. Select "Read all parameter sets from file".
3. Select the disk drive and the parameter set which is to be loaded. Confirm with "OK".
4. Make sure that your wiring and drive configuration match the settings of the new parameter
set.
