4. Remove both drain plugs (1) and collect the oil in a
suitable container.
5. Remove and discard the engine oil filter (1).
6. Clean the filter mounting surface before installing new
filter.
7. Lubricate the seal of new filter with clean engine oil.
8. Install the new filter, tighten filter until the seal meets the
mating surface, then tighten additional 3/4 of a turn. Do
not over tighten.
NOTICE: Always change engine oil filter, when changing
engine oil.

9. Replace the drain plugs and refill the engine with clean
oil at filler cap (3).
10. Run the engine for a minute or so to circulate the oil,
and shut off the engine.
11. Add clean oil, as necessary, until the oil level is be-
tween minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick.
NOTICE: Do not fill above the maximum mark on the dip-
stick. Excessive oil will be burned off within a short time
and give a false impression of oil consumption.
