Basic Settings EE 8000

Subscriber > Station properties
 For the subscriber, at which the industrial station is connected, the type "EE8000" must be set
 It is recognised automatically when reading out the Intercom Server
Subscriber > Station properties > EE 8000
 For the configuration, the tabs "Inputs", "Outputs" ("I/O's") and "General" are available.
Tab "Inputs" and "Outputs"
 If the check boxes "In 1" / "Out 1" / "In 2" / "Out 2" are activated, the respective internal inputs
or outputs are activated. In the bordering field "Call number" the calling number of the according
input or output can be changed.
Notes:
 The internal input of an industrial station appears at "Inputs" after it has been activated. 16 inputs
can be used per subscriber card (minus the number of subscribers).
 The internal output of an industrial station will not appear at "Outputs", but it appears in the pop-up
menus for selection of outputs for certain functions, like e.g. attendant contacts or door opener
outputs.
 The internal inputs of the EE 8000 can indicate only 2 switch steps: "Open" and "Short".
Tab General
 In the field Number of modules the number of (button) modules connected to the industrial station
is defined (this is recognised automatically when reading out the Intercom Server).
 In the combo-box Idle state Basic colour the colour can be selected, in which the buttons of the
modules shall be illuminated in idle state (this combo-box is inactive until a value > 0 is selected at
"Idle state Brightness"). Selection of red or green.
 In the combo-box Idle state Brightness the brightness of the buttons in idle state can be defined
(in five steps).
 In the combo-box red Brightness the brightness of the buttons in state "red" can be defined (in five
steps).
 In the combo-box green Brightness the brightness of the buttons in state "green" can be defined
(in five steps).
 Activate the checkbox Compatibility mode, if the station shall be used in an Intercom Server with
software Pro 05.0A (or higher). This means, the station has to be programmed with activated
checkbox (according to the "System Requirements", this means min. Pro 05.7 Build 15) and then
can be used in an Intercom Server with software as of Pro 05.0A, as the programmed settings are
stored in the station.
Attention:
 Only for Intercom Server GE 700 and GE 200
 Only the direct dialling settings can be stored in the station; settings regarding volume or LED
indication are not stored in the station.
 Activate the checkbox Red lamp inactive if the default function "Red lamp (conversation lamp)" at
the left button of microphone modules shall be deactivated. This means that there will be no longer
a conversation indication at this LED button.
