Line fault
It is possible to define separate indication for stations and inputs:
Subscriber > Station Properties > EE 8000 > Station > Templates > tab Line fault
 In the combo-box Stations colour a colour can be selected for indication of station line faults.
 In the combo-box Stations blink mode the illumination of the buttons can be selected for indica-
tion of station line faults.
 In the combo-box Inputs colour a colour can be selected for indication of input line faults.
 In the combo-box Inputs blink mode the illumination of the buttons can be selected for indication
of input line faults.

Predefined Functions

The most common functions (e.g. direct dialling button with indication of call requests) can easily be
defined in the folder "Predefined functions" in the folder of the respective EE 8000 at "Station proper-
ties".
Subscriber > Station properties > EE 8000 > Station > Predefined functions > Module
Attention:
The term "module" under this folder ("Predefined functions") do not refer to the different modules of
an industrial station (e.g. EM 605, EM 606 etc.), it stands for the complete stations (housing with mo-
dules, e.g. EE 8558M, EE 8555S etc.).
 For the buttons 01 to 14 / 01 to 18 (button numbers
predefined function can be selected. The available functions are described below.
 In the field Call number / Button the required parameter for the respective function is entered (e.g.
call number of input/output number).
 The required definitions are carried out automatically.
Note: Some functions (e.g. control desk function) must be carried out separately.
Direct dialling, Call- / Conversation indication
In the field "Call number / Button" the call number of the subscriber is entered. In standard the button
behaves as follows:
 Press button: a conversation to the respective subscriber is built-up – pressing the button again quits
the conversation
 Conversation with a subscriber: green LED
 Call 1 from subscriber: permanent green
 Call 2 from subscriber: red - slow blinking
This behavior can be changed,
