Boot Mode and Bypass Mode Select Jumpers

The ADSP-21992 supports different boot modes, which are controlled by
the three dedicated hardware boot mode control pins (
and
). These modes can be selected by the configuration of the
BMODE0
three 2-pin jumpers (

The DSP provides a user-programmable (1x to 32x) multiplication of the
input clock, including fractional values, to support 128 external-to-inter-
nal (DSP core) clock ratios. The

A socket is available on the ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite board for an 8-pin
SPI Serial EEPROM, such as the Microchip 25LC640, which is used for
booting and/or data storage.
