WAN Mode

The EXTender utilizes a direct serial connection to provide remote user connectivity. This means that the
WAN port is plugged directly into a network device. The WAN port (WAN 1 or WAN 2) that is used as the
main or "primary" port must be set for Async Mode.

Procedure

1. Access the WAN Menu from the Main Menu using the following path:
Path: Remote->Configuration->WAN ->WAN 1 or WAN 2
The WAN 1 menu appears.
