The connections of the Ethernet cable depend on the device that you connect. When connecting to an Ethernet
hub you would normally use a straight cable (some hubs will take either a straight or cross cable)
When connecting directly to the NIC card in your PC you must use a cross cable.

Fit the Ferrite Core to the Ethernet Cable
Ensure that you make 1 turn of the
Ethernet cable through the ferrite core
supplied with the EXIFU-A1 card.
The diagram shows 1 turn of the cable
through the ferrite.
Maximum Cable Length
The maximum cable length is 100 metres for straight and cross cables.
