This chapter describes cables used by the ISCOM6860, including the following sections:

4.1 Fiber

4.1.1 Introduction

The ISCOM6860 can use the Single-mode Fiber (SMF) and Multi-mode Fiber (MMF). The
two kind of fibers are the same in appearance but different in color. The SMF is yellow while
the MMF is orange.
The ISCOM6860 can be connected to the Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) or optical
interfaces of other devices through fibers.
Table 4-1 lists fiber connectors supported by the ISCOM6860.
