11 Maintenance

A 3D printer is a quite complex motion system and requires maintenance.

11.1 Motion system

The linear bearings require almost no maintenance. Recommended is that you put a little some grease
on them every 3-4 months.
The belt tension of the x and y axis can also be checked in intervals of 3 months. Check this small movie to
