Chapter 2 Connections
Connecting to the line
Use only singlemode fibers (SMF) with the correct connector
type (PC or APC) to connect the OLP-3057.
To connect to the line for measuring signal power
1 Connect the left socket to the central office side
(1490/1550 nm).
2 Connect the right socket to the household side (1310 nm).
You are connected to the line.
Measuring
Using the Broadband mode, you can measure broadband
broadband
signals, using the connector on the side of the SIM as shown
in
Figure
3.
