2 Disconnect any connected optical cables.
3 Remove the test adapter.
The plug end surface is now accessible.
4 Wipe off the plug end surface using a cotton bud soaked
in isopropanol. This is a particularly effective way of
cleaning which leaves no residues.
5 Blow out the test adapter with clean compressed air
(available in spray cans, for example, Anti Dust Spray).
Using the FTTx mode, you can measure signal power by
inserting the OLP-3057 into the signal path as shown in
Figure
2.
