6.3 Checking the Blade depth & Force
A quick check and fi nal adjustment of the blade depth & pressure can be made by
using the TESTCUT function. This is carried out by loading a sheet of media in from
the FRONT of the cutter (this enables you to leave a stack of media in the feeding tray).
Moving the Tool carriage to a clear area on the sheet of media, setting the origin and then
pressing the TESTCUT function.
Please follow the steps below to perform a Testcut.
1. Press the [MOVE] tab button on the
LCD display.

button , on the key pad to
'REVERSE' the media feed rollers
(Which will move media BACKWARDs

(+X)) on the LCD panel.
4. Press the DOWN
F
, to move the tool carriage
across the media into a clear area with
approx 25mm of space (1") available
in either direction around the BLADE
Tool's position.
5. When you have placed the tool in the position you wish to make the TESTCUT,
press the [SET ORIGIN]
x2 to confi rm the ORIGIN (as the current Tool Carriage Position).
