6.2.4 The MOVE Screen (TAB KEY FUNCTION)
The MOVE screen
allows you to move the
TOOL carriage and Feed
the media feed rollers
backwards or forwards
on your Intec ColorCut
SC5000 cutter.
The MOVE function is an important function when using the TEST cut function as
it enables you to manually load media from the front of the cutter. In addition the
MOVE function may also be useful to remove a cut out element that did not have
TAGs to hold it in the sheet or to clear a jam or mis-fed media - with specialist media
(like sugar or rice paper) you can use the MOVE function to advance the rollers to
assist in cleaning the rollers.
Press the MOVE TAB
to a solid purple color, to show you have selected that option.
In the MOVE mode, the cutter status changes to [OFF Line]
new cutting fi les. When you have fi nished loading/ejecting media or moving the media
or fi nished moving the tool carriage press the
cutter to the HOME screen, and change the SC5000 cutter status back, to ON-LINE.
When the main 'MOVE' screen is displayed,
press the RIGHT
key pad to 'REVERSE' the media feed rollers
(Which will move media BACKWARDs (+X)) .
You can use this to load a sheet of media from
the FRONT of the cutter. Press the
G
arrow button
to advance any media loaded
(FORWARDs (-X)) (This can be also used to
Eject media if required).
Pressing the DOWN
the side with the SC5000's control panel whilst pressing the UP
across the media away from the side with SC5000's control panel. This can be used to
position the tool carriage at a specifi c location on a sheet of media.
When setting the start position for a [TEST CUT], use the arrow keys to place the tool
carriage where you want the test cut to be completed then press the [
button on the LCD panel, followed by the hard ENTER
your ORIGIN selection (the start point). You can now press the
