Optional equipment

Front packer

DANGER
Risk of falling when climbing the packer.
Never use packer tyres or other rotating parts
¾
to climb on the machine.
They may continue to turn resulting in poten-
tially serious injuries.
Front and intermediate axle packers are avail-
able for all Pronto DC.
The packers ensure uniform consolidation over
the entire working width.
The levelling effect allows reducing the working
depth of the DiscSystem thus saving tractive
power.

Crossbar

Crossbar, front
Crossbar, rear
The crossbar may be installed at the front of
the machine or between the DiscSystem and
the tyre packer.
It is especially suitable for levelling on ploughed
soil. The tractive force demand increases.
To calibrate the crossbar, fully extend all
¾
cylinders and keep them pressurized for a
few seconds.
This ensures uniform adjustment of the work-
ing depth.
Adjust the aggressiveness of the crossbar via
¾
the hydraulic control unit.
The setting is made infinitely variable and can
be checked by using the attached scale.
Raise the crossbar when not needed.
¾
The crossbar tends to become clogged with
mulch seed and is therefore not recommend-
ed here.
