Distributor

Depending on the design and working width of
the machine the seed system is equipped with
one or two distributor towers.
For machines with PPF system the distributor
for solid fertiliser is installed in the rear hopper.
For machines with G & F system the fertiliser is
fed into one or two distributor towers together
with the seed, depending on design and working
width.
Check all distributor components for leak
¾
tightness.
Even minor leaks and air losses cause drilling
¾
errors and uneven distribution of the seed.

Wings automatic tram line system

The distributor is equipped with valves for the
tram line control.

NOTE
The arrangement of the wings depends on the
working width of the drill
tram line rhythm
track width of the spraying and spreading
machine
number of wings per track.
The valve function can be checked by examin-
ing the air flow on the seed coulters or the seed
placement on the surface.
The wings have a mark on the underside on the
shaft indicating the position of the wing.
Marking of tram line valve (position open)
If the tram line distribution box is equipped with
track width change-over, the track width must
only be changed when all valves are open.
This can be checked on the terminal; no tram
line must be activated. Alternatively, marking
can be checked on the wings.

Seed flow monitoring

The seed flow sensors enable the monitoring of
up to 120 seed and fertiliser hoses.
The sensors are connected in series, and the
numbers indicate the order.
The sensor numbers facilitate troubleshooting
in the hoses in case of alarms.
If the monitored seed hoses are also fitted with
valves for the tram line control, these numbers
must also be entered in a list on the terminal in
the menu for tram line rhythm.
Follow the operating instructions for the E-Man-
ager.
