Changing the metering augers
If the hopper is full, loosen the wing nut on
¾
the gate valve (1) and insert the valve in the
opposite way into the slot.
Loosen both wing nuts on the metering unit
¾
and pull out the lid with the metering auger (2).
Pull the spring pin (3) out of the shaft.
¾
Replace the auger. Pay attention to the condi-
¾
tion and correct fit of the O-ring on the auger
to be used.
Insert the spring pin.
¾
Reinsert the parts into the metering unit.
¾
Turn the auger further until the hexagon can
¾
be inserted into the drive from the top.
Retighten the wing nuts.

Seed calibration
The calibration sequence and the input on the
terminal is identical with the calibration for seed
and fertiliser.
Open the calibration opening and hook in the
¾
calibration bag.
For low granulate quantities install the 38 cm³
¾
auger. For high quantities or high working
speed install the 66 cm³ auger.
Fill the hopper with granulate.
¾
Run the metering auger so that it is completely
¾
filled and calibration will not be falsified. Fol-
low the operating instructions for the E-Man-
ager, Filling the metering cells section, to this end.
Run the calibration and enter the calibration
¾
weight. Follow the operating instructions for
the E-Manager.
Drilling can be started if the appropriate speed
range is displayed after entering the weight.
If necessary, replace the metering auger and
¾
repeat calibration if the indicated speed range
is not suitable for drilling.
Initial use
The metering units must first run in during initial
use.
In case of initial use, repeat calibration after
¾
one hour of running time.
