Align the machine horizontally via the con-
¾
nection on the tractor before making any
adjustments.

DiscSystem

The working depth of the DiscSystem is adjusted
via a hydraulic rephasing system to achieve a
uniform working depth over the entire working
width of the machine.
Lift the rephasing system completely before
¾
performing the adjustment and keep under
pressure for some time. This calibrates the
system.
Set the DiscSystem hydraulically to the
¾
desired working depth. The depth can be
checked by using the attached scale.
Check the working depth in the field and cor-
¾
rect if required.
NOTE

Side plates

The side plates on the DiscSystem prevent the
soil from being ejected beyond the working width
of the machine and level the earth wall that is
generated by the outer discs of the DiscSystem.
The setting must be adapted to the soil condi-
tions. No earth wall and furrow may be created
between the tracks.
Check the height of the side plates after ad-
¾
justing the DiscSystem and adapt them as
needed.
Set the height of the plates.
¾
Loosen and remove the screws (A), adjust
the plates via the hole patterns and fasten
the screws again.
Set the incline of the plates.
¾
Loosen the locking nut, adjust the incline with
the screw (B) and retighten the locking nut.
Adjusting the side plates
Check the adjustment in the field and correct
¾
if required.
