DANGER
Serious accidents caused by the machine roll-
ing away!
Secure the machine with parking brake or
¾
wheel chocks against rolling away.
When connecting machines with pneumatic
¾
brake always connect the yellow connection
(brake line) first.
1. Clean the towing facilities of machine and
tractor and check for wear. Follow the Main-
tenance overview section in this regard.
2. Move the tractor to the machine and set the
brake.
3. Couple the machine.
Machines with tractor link arm hitching:
- Engage the machine.
- Insert the securing device of the catching
hooks.
- Lock the tractor link arms against swing-
ing sideways.
Machines with drawbar eye:
- Connect the hydraulic lines of the hydrau-
lic cylinder to the drawbar at the control
unit of the tractor.
- Adjust the height of the drawbar to allow
the machine to engage.
- Engage the machine.
- Insert the bolts and secure them.
- Insert aluminium clips on the drawbar cyl-
inder to prevent the machine from sinking
to much into the field.
- Open the lock valve and switch the control
unit to floating position.
WARNING
Danger of severe injury caused by the dropping/
falling drawbar.
Instruct persons to leave the danger zone.

Never stand under the drawbar.
¾
Machines with drawbar eye or ball head:
Open the lock valve on the hydraulic cylinder
¾
of the drawbar in the field and switch the
control unit to floating position.
WARNING
Danger of traffic accidents from exceeding the
permissible transport height.
Check the transport height before travel and
¾
adjust if necessary.
Machines with ball and socket coupling:
- Connect the hydraulic lines of the hydrau-
lic cylinder to the drawbar at the control
unit of the tractor.
- Lower the drawbar or spherical cap onto
the ball and slightly lift up the machine.
- Position the hold-down.
- Check the gap between hold-down and
spherical cap and adjust. Pay attention to
the chapter Maintenance overview.
- Open the lock valve and switch the control
unit to floating position.
4. Connect the brake. Observe the Brake system
section to this end.
5. Connect the hydraulic lines. Pay attention to
the chapterHydraulics.
6. Connect the lines for lighting and ISOBUS.
7. Relieve the support by lifting the machine,
fold it up and secure it with the bolt. Secure
the bolt with a cotter pin.
