BUTTONHOLE MAKING
1. Replace the presser foot with the buttonhole
foot. (Refer to "Changing presser foot" on
page 39.)
2. Insert the button into the buttonhole foot.
3. Lower the buttonhole lever (C) so that it drops
down vertically between the stoppers (A) and
(B).
4. Place the fabric under the foot. Pull out the
bobbin thread underneath the fabric to a
length of about 4" (10 cm) to the rear.
5. Align the buttonhole mark on the fabric with
the mark on the buttonhole foot, and then
lower the buttonhole foot.
6. While holding the top thread, star t the
machine.

REALIZZAZIONE ASOLE
1. Rimuovere il piedino e montare il pidino
asola (fare riferimento a pagina 39 "INSE-
RIMENTO/RIMOZIONE PIEDINO).
2. Inserire il bottone nel relativo supporto e
fermo facendolo aderire ad esso.
3. Abbassare la leva asola (C), in modo che
quest'ultima si mantenga perfettamente
verticale tra i punti (A) e (B) della figura in alto.
4. Posizionare il tessuto sotto il piedino.
Pescare il filo della spolina e portare entrambi
i fili dietro il piedino di circa 10 cm.
5. Allineare il segno del tessuto in corrispon-
denza del segno presente sul piedino asola.
Abbassare la leva alza piedino.
6. Tenere tra indice e pollice il filo dell'ago, quindi
avviare la macchina per cucire.
