NEEDLE, THREAD AND FABRIC CHART
Use the standard needles. The size of your needle
should match the size of the thread and both
should match the fabric.
For normal sewing, the same size and type of
thread should be used in the bobbin as on the
upper part of the machine. Never use a bent or
blunt needle.
For successful sewing of stretch fabrics use
stretch stitch needles.
TABELLA FILO, AGO, TESSUTO
- Per la cucitura di tessuti leggeri, utilizzare
aghi e fili sottili.
- Come regola generale, usare lo stesso filo
per ago e spolina.
- Utilizzare un ago stretch per la cucitura di
tessuti sottili, tessuti elastici, tricot e asole per
evitare che i punti saltino.
- Utilizzare lo stabilizzatore per tessuti elastici
o tessuti sottili per evitare il raggrinzimento
della cucitura.
- Provare sempre la dimensione del filo e
dell'ago su un piccolo pezzo di tessuto dello
stesso tipo che sarà in seguito usato
per la cucitura.
- Non utilizzare mai aghi piegati, storti oppure
spuntati.
