Preparing rake for transport on public roads To meet safety precautions concerning transport on the public roads the mower should be equipped with warning plates (these can be found with the machine set).

5.6. Preparing the rake for operation NOTE: During storing of the machines in company SaMASZ the cylinders are protected by special grease in order to secure them against weather which may cause their premature wear. Before starting the operation excess grease should be removed from the cylinders.

It is forbidden to lower raking arms below 1 cm from the ground as this may cause damages to the machine such as bending the raking arms, breaking the linkage or the gear, faster wearing of raking tines, damaging the turf and causing contamination to the collected forage, etc.

ROTARY RAKE OPERATOR’S MANUAL Prior to any repair or service works the machine should be cleaned thoroughly and any grass, dirt or mud removed. Upon inspecting any bolt connections and pins for clearance, assess whether the machine is in proper operating condition. Replace any worn or damaged bolts, pegs, pins and other parts with new ones.
4. Faults or damages should be submitted personally, on letter or by telephone. Repairs shall be carried out within 14 days. Any repair which is subject to warranty should be carried out by an authorized SaMASZ dealer. 5. Warranty claims regarding replacing of the product or repayment are considered within 14 days by the Manufacturer.
