Test of Communication Line Between SMART KNIT Terminal and SM-
DIN Modules
This function allows you to check the perfect operation of the communications line
between the SMART KNIT terminal and the connected SM-DIN modules.
It is advisable to run this test during the first testing phase (immediately after
installation) and each time random problems occur in the system operation, which
may have been caused by inefficient communications between Terminal and SM-
DIN modules.
to activate the Test function.
to select the Communication Test function.
to select the SM-DIN module whose communication line efficiency is to be
checked (initially 01).
From this moment on, the system communicates repeatedly with the selected SM-
DIN module. The running test status is signaled by the flashing red LED inside the
ENTER button. If no communications errors are detected, then the display shows
the message BOARD nn 000/000. If communications errors are detected, the
display shows the message BOARD nn XXX/YYY, where XXX indicates the total
number of failed attempts and YYY indicates the total number of sensors where
some problems occurred.
