Non-Kelvin SMU voltage and current test

Two SMUs are always used in a SMU voltage or current test; one SMU is the instrument under test
and the other is the test support SMU (see next Figure).
1. At the start of each group's test loop, a SDC (selected device clear) is used to initialize the
instrument.
2. For the Series 2600A instruments, the test support SMU should be the same model as the SMU
to be tested [This is not the case if the SMU being tested is a model 2410]. If the SMU
the same model as the SMU under test or the SMU to be tested is the last SMU, the SMU
be used as the test support SMU.
3. The ranges for the SMU under test are obtained from the diagSpec file in the following directory:
C:\ACS\library\pyLibrary\ptmlpt folder
4. The M in the flow chart (see next Figure) represents the number of Model 2410 SMUs. For the
S530 high-voltage system, there is one Model 2410.
