Pumping hazardous media can result in hazardous sub-
stances adhering to internal parts of the pump.
If this is the case for you:
ð Wear your personal protective equipment, e.g., pro-
tective gloves, eye protection and, if necessary, res-
piratory protection.
ð Decontaminate the vacuum pump before opening it.
If necessary have decontamination carried out by
an external service provider.
ð Take safety precautions according to the instruc-
tions you have received on handling hazardous
substances.
NOTICE
Damage possible if work is performed incorrectly.
ð Let a trained specialist or at least an instructed person carry
out Maintenance work.
ð Before carrying out Maintenance for the first time, please
read through all the instructions to get an overview of the re-
quired service work.
