4.3.5 Venting connection
DANGER
Risk of explosion by venting with air.
Depending on the application, venting can cause explo-
sive mixtures to form or other hazardous situations to
arise.
Never vent processes with air which could form an

explosive mixture.
In the case of flammable substances, use only inert
Ø
gas for venting, e.g., nitrogen
(max. 1.2 bar/900 Torr abs.).
Vent with ambient air
For venting with ambient air, nothing needs to be connected to
venting valve (b) of sensor (a).
