• Reduce the vehicle speed until the message disap-
pears.
• Stop the vehicle in a safe place and let the engine

Once the display message on the multi-information dis-
play turns off, there is no problem continuing to drive.
If the message does not disappear, have your vehicle
checked by your Toyota dealer immediately.
The vehicle switched from four-wheel drive (4WD) to
front wheel drive due to overheating.
Perform the following actions.
