Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
Counterbalance valve is too loose
Faulty hydraulic coupler
Lift cylinders have improper
combination of cylinder spacers
Gauge wheels set too low
Hydraulic down pressure not set
high enough
Center toolbar section set too deep Add cylinder spacers to lift cylinders.
Gauge wheels set too high
Center toolbar section set too
shallow
Orifices too small
Plugged knives
Kinked hoses
Speed too fast
Flow monitor balls installed
incorrectly
Clogged strainer
Orifices too small
Agitation valve open
Tank valve clogged/closed
Agitation valve closed
Possible Remedy
Tighten counterbalance valve. See "Toolbar Down Pressure Relief Valve and
Gauge" on page 10 for instructions.
Replace with new coupler.
Add or remove spacers as necessary.
Move gauge wheels up.
Increase pressure by turning adjustment knob clockwise.
IMPORTANT: Do not exceed 1,350 psi.
Move gauge wheels down.
Remove cylinder spacers from lift cylinders.
Install larger orifices.
Clear debris.
Adjust hoses as necessary.
Slow down.
Intall flow monitor balls below plasitc grate under flow monitor cap.
Clean strainer.
Install larger orifices.
Close valve.
Unclog/open valve.
Open valve.
