Grain flow stoppage
Auger tube is breaking away from the
grain cart at the hinge area or the ram

Flip-up auger rest not flipping over

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause...
Dirt in restrictor
Faulty check valve
Upper flighting and lower flighting are
locked together
Top of the hanger bushing assembly is
rubbing against the drive dog
Auger flighting or shaft is bent
Drive shaft is bent
Bolt sheared in drive dog
Folding auger before complete stop
PTO key sheared
Upper auger is extended in the upright
position while traveling in the field
Cable has loosened
Axle stop blocks too tight to axle
Possible Remedy...
Remove restrictor fittings from outside
hydraulic cylinder and clean out dirt
Replace check valve
Bearing on top of upper auger flighting
need adjusting. When the auger is in
the engaged position, there must be
1/8" (0,32cm) gap between bottom
of top bearing and top of upper tube
housing (See "Adjusting the Lower
and Upper Flighting" on page 28)
Loosen the two bolts and re-adjust
the position of the hanger bushing
assembly. Re-tighten bolts.
Remove the lower flighting assembly
and place a shim between the spline
coupler and the gearbox.
Straighten or replace auger flighting
Replace or straighten drive shaft
Replace bolt in drive dog. Engage
upper and lower flighting at a slow rate
of speed. (Drive dogs and lugs are
being engaged too fast.)
Upper and lower flightings are
disengaging before auger comes
to a complete stop. Replace bolt
in the drive dog. Never engage
or disengage the upper and lower
flightings until the augers come to a
complete stop.
Replace key and tighten set screw.
Repair or place folding cylinder if
necessary. Remember to lower auger
to the field position after unloading.
With auger in "Field" position tighten
cable to the handle.
Adjust gap in axle stop blocks
