Cable Specifications

In order to maintain compliance with the limits of a Class B
digital device, 3Com requires that you use quality interface
cables when connecting to this device. Changes or
modifications not expressly approved by 3Com could void
the user's authority to operate this equipment. Examples of
supported cable types are shown below:
■ For unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) connections:
Unshielded twisted-pair (100 ohm):
■ Level 3 LAN and high-speed data cable, for example,
■ Level 4 extended distance LAN cable, for example,
■ For thin coax conections:
