Plug and Play

Plug and Play functions only in computers running specific
Plug and Play software, if you are using a system that supports
Plug and Play, three parameters (IRQ, I/O Base, and ROM Base)
will be set by the Plug and Play software. If you set any of
these resources yourself, Plug and Play will ignore these
settings and will override them. (You will still set ROM size to
indicate the presence of a network boot ROM and its size.)
If you are running Plug and Play software, you may still have
to load the adapter drivers located on the EtherDisk diskette.
If you are on a NetWare server, run the AutoLink auto
installation software. To load the NDIS driver, refer to
Chapter 4, "Installing the Network Drivers."
