If you use the vehicle in winter, you must expect salt on the roads. You should therefore take precautions against
aggressive road salt.
If the vehicle was operated in road salt, clean it with cold water after riding. Warm water would enhance the corro-
sive effects of salt.
Treat bare metal (except for brake discs and the exhaust system)
with a corrosion inhibitor.
Preserving materials for paints, metal and rubber (
Treat all plastic parts and powder-coated parts with a mild cleaning
and care product.

calipers and brake linings, after they have cooled down and
without removing them, with cold water and dry them care-
fully.
