4.2.21.2.6 The tension spring connectors used for the connecting element
The tension spring technology enables simple connection without any tools and conductor
pretreatment. The spring is opened with a screwdriver over the actuation shaft. Then, the conductor
is inserted into the spring cage via the separate conductor shaft. By removing the tool from the
actuation shaft, the spring then pulls the conductor against the power rail. This connection can be
released in the same way.
This technique has the following benefits:

No conductor pretreatment required.

High level of contact reliability for industrial applications.

Universally used connection method.

Time savings compared to the screw connection.

No retightening of screw connections required.
