3.2.7 Installation of the shaft encoder multiplier

The Rotary pulse encoder multiplier (RE multiplier) is used for the simultaneous connection of a
shaft encoder to several REA JET HR pro 2K/4K control devices.

3.2.7.1 Installation on a 35 mm supporting rail

I) Insert the holding element with the groove at the upper side into the supporting rail.

II) Then press the housing on the lower side against the supporting rail until the mount has
snapped into place in the supporting rail.

3.2.7.2 Disassembly of a 35mm supporting rail

I) Place the tip of a suitable screwdriver into the lower flap of the mount.

II) Carefully press the screwdriver against the housing to use the leverage to undo the lock.


The housing is intended for the following two
assembly types:
-- Assembly on a DIN 35 mm supporting rail.
-- Direct connection to the machine or system.

In the delivery state, the module has been prepared
for assembly to a 35 mm supporting rail.
