10.1 List of error, malfunction and generated messages

Problem
desription
The bed is not
responding to
controller
commands.
The hand
controller or
some of its
buttons are not
working.
The function lock
indicator is
flashing and after
pressing any
button on the
bed, a short
alarm signal
sounds
When all
functions are
actively locked,
after pressing
any button, a
short acoustic
signal sounds
The bed emits
intermittent
acoustic signal
and one of the
controllers is
not functioning

Likely cause
The bed probably does
not have electric
supply and the battery
is already depleted.
The hand controller
cable is not properly
inserted in the bed
connector.
Emergency stop
device is not working
Locked buttons
Controller failure
Action to be taken by
the operator to solve
the problem
Plug the power supply
cord to the electric socket
(full recharge of the
battery takes 8 hours).
Make sure, the hand
controller cable is
inserted properly in the
bed connector.
Calling service
Unlocking buttons of
keyboards by holding
down the lock button
Call the service
Actions to be taken
by the qualified
service personnel
Check, if the electric
network is on and the
socket in function. Use
other electric socket.
Check, if the bed
responds with another
hand controller. If so,
replace the hand
controller.
Replacing the DPS
controlboard or erasing
the error flag using 'r'
sent via diagnostics
